I went to Ireland with my Mom when I was 12 years old and we went to the Cliffs of Moher in Doolin. I was shocked at how amazingly beautiful it was and I always wanted to go back.

I was so excited when Dallas and I decided to go to Ireland for a belated 8 year (dating) anniversary trip with two of our best friends. When we got to the Cliffs of Moher on the 4th day of our trip, it was everything I remembered and more.

We hiked from the visitor center to the north point and then back down towards the southern point. He asked to take a picture with me on a grassy hill with the observation tower in the background. Our friends knew what was happening and were each recording and snapping pictures while we walked to the edge of the cliff and posed. He looked at me and said that the past 8 years had been the best years of his life, and he was so happy that we had bought a home and started a (four-legged) family together. Then he got down on one knee and pulled a ring box out of his pocket. I said yes and then all the nearby people started clapping and surrounded us with well wishes. It was the best day of my life.
